Particle is excited to be exhibiting at the upcoming Bay Area Maker Faire on October 13-15! This is the first Maker Faire in the Bay Area since 2019, and the perfect time to visit the Particle booth. We always enjoy connecting with the maker community and talking shop with fellow engineers and hobbyists. This year, we have some special activities and giveaways planned for attendees who stop by the Particle booth. Read on for the top 5 reasons you need to visit our booth at Maker Faire!
Reason 1: Spin the prize wheel!
Particle has set up an exciting prize wheel (built using Monitor One) at our booth where Maker Faire attendees can spin to win awesome swag, discounts, and even Particle devices! Prizes on the wheel include Photon 2 development boards, Particle hats and other swag, gift cards, and special discount codes for Particle online store purchases.
Reason 2: Explore cutting-edge products
Check out Particle’s latest IoT hardware products, like the new Photon 2 development board and the Monitor One environment monitor. You’ll also get a sneak preview of upcoming cellular and WiFi modules before they are publicly launched.
Reason 3: Take home a free dev kit
Particle is giving away a limited number of free development kits so makers can start building their connected product ideas. These will be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis.

It’s the perfect opportunity to meet and mingle with the engineers, get to know the team behind Particle’s IoT platform, and kick off the faire in true maker spirit.
